the WIN A TERRIBLE PRIZE 2 contest official rules

Contestants have the opportunity to win a brand-new, factory-sealed CD of the hit 1999 album 14:59 by Sugar Ray, featuring the single "Every Morning". The winner will be the contestant who has accumulated more points than any other contestant by midnight, June 2, 2008. There are six (6) ways to earn points:

Earning points
1 point — Get someone to join the BORED Facebook group. The group page URL is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6692312637 and can be joined by Facebook users by clicking the "Join this Group" link. After joining, the new member must post a message to the group's Wall containing the referring contestant's name.

3 points — Make art using BORED's Free Graphics and post it in the Facebook group's Photos section. The group page URL is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=669231263. BORED's Free Graphics can be downloaded at: http://www.boredsketchbooks.com/free-graphics

4 points — Write a minimum 20-word poem about Sugar Ray and post it on the Facebook group's Wall. The group page URL is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6692312637.

5 points — Link to http://www.boredsketchbooks.com in your blog or website. The link must be HTML text and be plainly visible. The link must also be created after May 18, 2008 and be live at midnight on June 2, 2008. Links must be submitted in an e-mail sent to art@boredsketchbooks.com with the subject line "Link to BORED" and the contestant's name in the body of the email.

10 points — Buy a sketchbook at http://www.boredsketchbooks.com/sketchbooks-shop. Payment must be received on or before midnight June 2, 2008. BORED cannot guarantee availability of sketchbooks as quanitities are limited.

1459 points — Get Mark McGrath to join BORED'S Facebook group. The group page URL is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6692312637 and can be joined by Facebook users by clicking the "Join this Group" link. The identity of Mark McGrath must be verified by BORED Facebook group administrators before points will be awarded. The persona "Mark McGrath" refers specifically to Mark Sayers McGrath, lead singer of rock band Sugar Ray and host of NBC™ television show Extra®. After joining, Mark Sayers McGrath must post a message to the group's Wall containing the referring contestant's name.

BORED Creative Company and BORED Creative People Facebook group administrators reserve the right to reject submissions, remove group forum posts, and/or deny points to any contestant, for any reason, at the discretion of BORED. This may include but is not limited to: invalid submissions, gaming of the contest system, copyright infringement, profanity, broken links, corrupt files, and/or cheating.

BORED Creative Company and BORED Creative People Facebook group administrators also reserve the right to allow entries which do not meet the above criteria 100% perfectly, within reason, at the discretion of BORED.

The winning contestant will be required to provide his or her physical mailing address in order to ensure delivery of the terrible prize.

In case of a tie, BORED Creative Company will saw or otherwise cut the terrible prize into 2 or more approximately equal pieces and award each winner with one (1) piece.
